We have published the "Back to School Forms," previously referred to as the "Beginning of Year Forms," in the Focus Parent Portal. Completing these forms for each of your students is a requirement prior to viewing your student’s scheduling information.  

Schedules are planned to be published in the Focus Parent Portal on Tuesday, August 11, so please complete the forms at your earliest convenience.  

You are invited to join us as we celebrate the official ribbon cutting of Richard J. Hyde Academy on Tuesday, August 18, from 5:00–7:00 p.m.

We are excited to welcome our students and staff back in just a few weeks! In the meantime, we are sharing some important information and helpful reminders to help your family prepare for a successful start to the new school year. 

Welcome to the Moon Area School District! We are excited that your child will be joining us as a kindergartener this year and look forward to partnering with your family as they begin this exciting educational journey.

Please save the date for your child's Kindergarten Orientation, which will be held on Tuesday, August 18, at your child's assigned elementary school.

As part of our transition to Focus, we are also sending a test phone call and test text message in addition to this email. The purpose of this is to ensure that we have an accurate distribution list prior to the start of the school year.
