Dear MASD Community,
Please be aware that the MASD track and field area will be closed to the public while the turf replacement project is underway. The project will begin on Monday, June 5, 2023. We expect it to be completed near the end of July.
Thank you for your patience.
You are warmly invited to set up a booth at our sixth annual homecoming carnival, which will take place in the upper parking lot at Moon High School on Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 5:30-8:00 PM directly following the Homecoming parade.
For a $25 donation, you get a 10 X 10 space intermixed with carnival games, informational booths, and food vendors. It's the perfect place to show off your home-based business, side hustle or even advertise your main gig!

This year Allard Elementary participated in a school-wide reading incentive program, called the Reading Club. Each student received a Reading Log and was encouraged to read on his/her free time. As students read books, points were earned.
Moon Area High School seniors participated in the second annual Parade of the Past on May 19th.
Students returned to their own elementary school to parade through the halls. It's a great opportunity for graduating seniors to catch up with their old elementary school teachers. The graduating seniors also inspired our younger students as they paraded through the halls.
The MASD Board of School Directors voted on the proposed final budget at their May 22, 2023 meeting. The proposed final budget includes a tax increase of 1.111 mills, which raises the district’s millage rate to 23.7856.
