Third grade students at Allard Elementary School have been busy learning, creating, and exploring in engaging and hands-on ways!

They recently enjoyed a Book Tasting at the “Starbooks Café,” sampling different genres to discover new favorites.

They researched tall structures around the world and then used toothpicks and pumpkin candies to build the tallest tower they could! They also practiced multiplication by building city arrays, creating skylines that showed off their math skills. Finally, students created tissue box characters from their favorite books — showing off both their creativity and love of reading!

The students had a blast learning, building, and reading together!
