First Grade Celebrates 100 Days of School

For the 100th day of school, the students in Mrs. Julie Rudi's first grade class at Allard Elementary School brought mystery bags filled with 100 items to school. The students read their clues for the items in their bag and the class had to guess the items. Then the students used the items to count to 100 in different ways.

In addition, the students made 100th day hats and practiced counting by 10.  They also discovered how far they could walk in 100 steps.  Finally, they read the story 100th Day Worries and learned how many words they could make using the letters in the word one hundred.

It was a fantastic day celebrating the 100th day of school!
