At Allard Elementary School, kindergarten, first, and second grade students recently embarked on a captivating journey through "Holidays Around the World" activities. This event was designed to celebrate the rich customs and cultures of six diverse countries/continents: Russia, India, China, Brazil, Africa, and the United States.
This engaging program provided our students with a unique and immersive opportunity to explore and learn about the traditions inherent in each of these vibrant cultures. The activities were thoughtfully crafted to foster a greater understanding and appreciation for global diversity among our young learners. A particularly meaningful aspect of the event was the participation of students whose country of origin was being showcased. They had the chance to share pictures and artifacts from their homeland, creating a meaningful exchange of traditions.
Happy Holidays from Allard Elementary School!
