Principal Message

Dear Allard Families,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year at J.A. Allard Elementary School! Whether you are a new family joining us for the first time, a family from Brooks Elementary School becoming part of our school community, or a returning member of Allard Elementary, we are thrilled to welcome you to what promises to be a year filled with learning, growth, and connection.

This year is especially meaningful as we come together as one Allard family, united in our shared commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment for every student. We are excited to build new traditions, strengthen old ones, and work as a team to ensure all students feel seen, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential.

We believe in the power of community at Allard. Our dedicated teachers and staff are ready to partner with you to create a joyful, engaging learning experience for all students in grades K–4. From academic excellence to positive behavior development, we are committed to helping every child thrive—both in and out of the classroom.

We know that when we work together—families, students, and staff—we can accomplish incredible things. Let’s make this school year one to remember, filled with meaningful moments, lasting friendships, and plenty of celebration.

There are so many exciting things happening at Allard Elementary! We are committed to making the 2025–2026 school year a positive and successful experience for every student.

This year, we will continue our PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) program, which promotes school safety and encourages respectful, responsible behavior. Our students have truly enjoyed PBIS throughout the past few years—highlighted by monthly reward drawings, themed dress-up days, and fun school-wide assemblies—and we’re excited to bring even more engaging activities and events your way this year!

We also know that a strong partnership between school and home plays a key role in student success. Research consistently shows that students perform better when their parents and guardians are actively involved in their education—and we firmly believe you are a vital part of the Allard team.

To support your child’s success, we kindly ask for your help with the following:

  • Ensure your child attends school regularly and arrives on time each day.
  • Check and support your child’s homework daily.
  • Reinforce our school-wide positive behavior expectations at home.
  • Make reading a daily habit by reading with your child or encouraging them to read independently.
  • Stay connected and involved with our Allard school community.

One great way to get involved is by joining our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). The PTO is a wonderful opportunity to support our school, connect with other families, and make a direct impact on the student experience. More information about how to get involved with the PTO will be shared soon—we’d love to have you join us!

Finally, your child’s homeroom teacher will be an important partner throughout the year. We encourage open communication and building a strong, positive relationship with our staff. At Allard, we believe that Together Everyone Achieves More (TEAM)—and we’re so glad to have you on our team.

Thank you for being part of the Allard family; we are so glad that you are here! I look forward to partnering with each of you to make the 2025-2026 school year a success for all students!

With Tiger Pride,

Dr. Susan Kazmierczak
