Principal’s Message
The staff at Allard Elementary School welcomes you and your family to the 2019-2020 school year. We are committed to making this upcoming school year a success for all of our students. We will be implementing some exciting activities and programs this year such as our second year of Rachel’s Challenge which incorporates anti-bullying and kindness. We will continue with our school-wide positive behavior program this year and Allard students will act as Kindness Crusaders, completing acts of kindness throughout the building.
Research has shown that the involvement of parents/guardians in the education of a child can be directly related to their success. We also believe that you are a critical part of the success of our school. In order to help foster success in our students, we ask that you do the following:
- Make sure that your child attends and arrives on time for school each day.
- Monitor your child’s homework on a daily basis.
- Support our positive behavior initiatives at school.
- Read with your child or encourage your child to read each day.
- Become involved with our Allard Family.
Our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a great way to participate in our school. More information will be forthcoming regarding our Parent Teacher Organization. Please consider supporting our school by becoming a member of our PTO.
Your child’s homeroom teacher will be a valuable resource, and I encourage you to establish a positive relationship with our teachers. Remember, Together Everyone Achieves More (TEAM).
I look forward to partnering with each and every one of you to make the 2019-2020 school year a success for all of our students. I am honored to serve as your Principal at Allard, and to be part of this wonderful Allard community.
Sincerely,
Dr. Susan Kazmierczak
Principal
